Misamis Oriental: A province that wows us with wonder

I have been writing about adventures and travels for months now. I have been inspiring people and readers to go on an escapade and to trek to the famed places to enjoy themselves while forgetting the stress in life. As well, I have been spending my time with you guys telling the best places to go diving, snorkeling, and swimming on the famous beaches on the planet. However, I have never been convincing myself to go alone. I have lost the chance to plan to go somewhere due to untoward incidents. COVID-19 has been stressing me for months – no job, no money, and no support services from whatever and whoever has the duty yo help.  I have been facing my battles against stress due to pandemic and other things. For that reason, I have lost the chance to beat the odds, leaving myself open for suggestions on what to do.

This photo highlights Pading Lagoon in Balingoan from Kentot Travels.

However, some people may have similar experiences. I know I am not alone in this challenge of time. Like me, they also struggle to live and survive. They make the most of their time to discover various activities at home – cooking, composing songs, creating e-Books, gardening, and watching films. For me, I like to take my time off doing what I love – setting up an adventure. Lately, I have come to realize to take a new adventure in life. Mountain climbing, snorkeling, surfing, and the like will do. For me, it is time to talk to these matters and forget the troubles brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. For me, spending my time with my loved ones appears to the best action and decision to do this season. Rather than doing nothing, I believe I can beat the pandemic by making myself productive.

Well, the good news is, I have many things to do in life. Even if I don’t a job at the moment, I still have things to do live the day again and again. I can think of going boating, diving, snorkeling, and swimming. I know I can’t go now to splash the turquoise water on the beach. I know the police officials may catch me and charge me of violating the stay-at-home and social distancing policy.

Finally, removing stress is good to do. I can do plenty of these activities – boating, diving, snorkeling, and swimming if I want to. How about you? What have you been up to this time? Have you been planning to go boating, kayaking, and surfing to make you feel better? Well, it is good to know. Send us a message about what you do this time.

Pading Lagoon, Balingoan: A hideaway to plan this year

The lure of the exciting beaches and resorts has continuously charmed us with its cold cerulean waters under the cobalt sky. The green forests and plants surrounded the place create a reflection of nature that our bright eyes cannot ignore but notice. But, we can’t go out this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic where travel restrictions from here and there compel us to stay at home and get bored for months inside the four corners of our rooms.

Well, the enticement of the beaches and resorts has been made available to us. All are set. However, when the go signal is on, business organizations get usual. This time I am going to take you to Pading Lagoon in Balingoan, Misamis Oriental. Wikipedia says that Balingoan ranks 5th class municipality in the jurisdiction and region of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. Wikipedia sources, again, give us the 11,051 people as a 2015 population survey.

Now, Pading Lagoon offers us such as refreshing waters to cool down. It is just reachable in the Misamis Oriental area since it resides along the Balingoan highway. It isn’t surely Boracay, Siargao, and the Maldives to think; however, this remarkable and splendid place is apt for everyone. Get ready as you won’t miss this opportunity after COVID-19 ends.

This time, please check the following treats we can find from Pading Lagoon. Surely, these treats give us special moments when family get-together and friend bonding happen almost here. However, please check the place since prices may vary considering time constraints and updates, but this one is close that you can get.

Puerto Galera: A home for boundless pleasure

Today, I am going to take you to Puerto Galera. This amazing place to travel is a town on the Philippine island of Mindoro. The Department of Tourism reports  its records that many tourists go to Puerto Galera. Its records show that Puerto Galera conveys a limitless excitement. Tourists can choose their activities to take their plunges in cerulean waters under the sapphire sky or to go diving or snorkeling. What makes this island quite astounding is its shape. Its long curve that stretches up highlights the beach site. And then, this long curve even stands out in Oriental Mindoro. This extraordinary abode, which showcases some bars and resorts back-to-back, delivers holiday delight. This means that the place does, indeed, have boundless excitement.

As well, Puerto Galera lures many tourists. The forests in the interior part of the island that lead to the out-of-the-way Talipanan Falls are perfect for pictorials. Probably, this view makes this place even more stimulating. Another thing is the hillside where tourists can enjoy their photography skills. Moreover, one can witness the 9-hole golf course that sits above the shoreline. It is fascinating. Tourists can see the northeast part known as the Sabang Beach in which its waters are filled with marine life and corals. Tourists can, finally, decide on the best place to stay for weeks and months.

A father and daughters walking on the white sand

Well, some people ask if Puerto Galera is worth visiting. I do not know the answer. For me, all places have dangers whether you like it or not. In my opinion, Puerto Galera is safe since it is a tourist destination in the world. The business managers of the beaches and resorts do not allow any internal and external forces to destroy their management operations. Therefore, they guarantee the safety and security of the place. Perhaps, the best question is if Puerto Galera is pricey. Again, this question depends on the tourists’ choices and their expenses. But, I tell a different way. Puerto Galera is worth-spending for holidays and vacations. The best thing you can in Puerto Galera is to enjoy and participate in various activities, such as island hopping, diving, and snorkeling.

Indeed, Puerto Galera fascinates tourists from all walks of life. Wherever you are, you can visit Puerto Galera anytime. Some people ask me again and again of which is better – White Beach or Sabang Beach in Puerto Galera. Well, White Beach is better in terms of the beach. In terms of nightlife, Sabang gives you entertainment and ecstasy. In the end, Sabang Beach and White Beach offer good rooms and food services. Oh, before I forget, tourists can choose some Airbnb places in Puerto Galera.

South Palms Resorts, Panglao: An idyllic home to hang loose

We just travel from place to place for years. And yet, we lose somewhere in the sun. And yes, we do scout from different websites to check on some exciting beaches and resorts here and abroad. We even check some promotional strategies that offer discounted trips. But, we lose in space and time again and again. We just don’t know why we keep on thinking to go international when we know the Philippines has much to offer.

We will try Panglao this time. Of course, Panglao is in Bohol. It is an island in the north Bohol Sea. Tourists can find it easily on a map as Bohol positions itself in the Central Visayas region. It means that Panglao is in the south-central Philippines. It is home to some beautiful and exhilarating beaches and resorts. It offers South Palms Resort, Henann Resort Alona Beach, Dumaluan Beach, and more and serves the table of fun and excitement. However, what brings me to highlight South Palms Resort isn’t the money. I haven’t been sponsored for this article. I just wrote this article a couple of days ago to promote the place and the country in general. Now, I am happy to tell you that Panglao fulfills its promise to be a picture-perfect destination to lure tourists locally and internationally. I just love the place and the fascinating scenery that tell me I will never think of going home after the vacation again.

One more thing, if you want to go to Bohol in general, you may be happy to check up on some remarkable places to enjoy and stay for holidays. At this point, Bohol Island as said by its oval-shaped island is an anchorage of sultry natural beauty. You may check the Chocolate Hills and meet the smallest primates of the world – the tarsiers. You can also tour around the place to visit some sites that showcase rich cultural heritage and old stone churches. As Panglao gains a reputation to be one of the famed tourist destinations in the Philippines, you know I am right once you visit the white sand seashores and world-class somersaulting locations. You can’t ignore Panglao and its connections to its natural wonders. Once you visit, you can never abandon the promising Chocolate Hills, the myriad springs, caverns, cascades, and watercourses, and the ever-cute primate known as tarsiers. Because of these, South Palms Resort in Panglao, Bohol attracts many local and foreign tourists for more stirring and electrifying water adventures such as scuba diving, somersaulting, and dolphin-watching.

Happy Faces of Tourists who Spend Holidays out in the Sun

Do you know how to get to Panglao Island? Well, wherever you go, you can reach Panglao via Tagbilaran, the capital of Bohol Province. According to the source, tourists can land on Tagbilaran port where the ferry terminal resides. Please visit this site for more updates on the province.

Nova Scotia, Canada: A paradise to live

We always dream to explore the world. Some people visit those exciting places where they can enjoy the days and nights of adventure. Others think of vising Biblical and Quranic antiquity to create historic links of the past. Well, we sometimes think of meaningful tourist spots in the world. We think of Paris in France, Hawaii in the United States, London in the United Kingdom, Reykjavik in Iceland, and many others. However, why do we not think of Nova Scotia? Well, Nova Scotia is an attractive-looking and beautiful province in eastern Canada. This province has 923,598 population as of 2016. It is the most densely inhabited province in Canada. It becomes the second-most jam-packed province, as well as the second-smallest region by expanse and zone after adjoining Prince Edward Island.

Welcome to Nova Scotia, my Friends

Nova Scotia is a magical place in Canada. The simplicity of the place gives us a new taste of adventure. It is best known for its famous high tides, lobsters, blueberries, fish, and apples in which we enjoy a lot. The province is well-known for its bizarrely high rate of the ship remains on Sable Island. Additionally, Nova Scotia can brag for its beautiful scenery, the avocado meadow in the foothill, the south and Acadian shore, and the exhilarating capital city Halifax. You can’t ask for more of the place. It is primarily a paradise. One can forget all your sorrows and worries to see its magical scenic narrative.

A Good View in Nova Scotia by the River to the Sea

As well, Nova Scotia reminds us of a heaven abode. If we have a chance to do it and if our savings allows, we can plan our adventure to the edge of the world, for Canada is like no other. It is a perfect country to visit since its provinces give us the excitement to do our activity. We can say that the place is perfect for cycling and that we can spend our time breathing in the clean salt air. Oh, we can also go fishing by the lake and the sea. Even in the villages, we can go fishing freshwater fish. The Bay of Fundy, for example, is extremely fantastic that it offers the world’s highest tides. If it isn’t a paradise, then what is it?

Fishing by the Lake or by the Sea

Moreover, Nova Scotia is benign for tourists to travel. You are safe wherever you go. You don’t have to think about crime since crime is extremely rare. If there is, it is only a petty crime like pick-pocketing.

Finally, if we decide to take out time for this adventure, we need to go there in May through October. The beautiful summer and the fall give us some electrifying and rousing adventure in a lifetime. Well, several carnivals attract many tourists these months. Therefore, we must plan ahead of time to avoid further complications going in the country.

Of course, you have to escape the noise pollution from the metropolis and the noise barrage of your rumormonger neighbors. However, you can’t afford to ignore those places that magically offer their allures all along.

Your biases, perhaps, allow you to go to places and countries without looking at the possibilities for the best places near you. Your prejudices even dictate you to choose the White Beach in the Maldives, the awe-inspiring Haleakala in Hawaii, the mesmerizing Ko Samui in Thailand, and many others to name them. Nonetheless, you’ve never been in a situation of thinking to go local and stay local. You’ve never done such a thing. It is because the deepest part of your brain – your unconscious self – convinces you to go out of your comfort zones and widen your horizons. This idea even gets real as you wish to escape from these whims – the commotions again and again– once in a while.

Sophie Red View by the Sea

So, you’ve planned to depart from that ordinary, yet everyday commotion of life. You’ve been heading to something far and beyond. Yet, this time you feel something unwell. You don’t have enough money to spend on Bali Beach in Indonesia, Maui in Hawaii, and more. Your heads have been telling you to go somewhere else. Now, if you have time to close your eyes and consider the beauty around you, you can’t push yourselves to go far from those special tourist destinations.

But then again, you can’t go too far, not this time. You’ve been facing challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic refuses to subside as it continues to share its horror and terror. You’ve been under the constant pressure of losing yourselves from the pandemic. However, you can’t stay at home forever. Your guts tell you this. So, you need to enjoy the moment while you are having the time of your life. For that reason, you need to spend your time with great activities to unwind out there.

Moalboal Beach Resort: A tourist site to admire

If you’re looking for an escapade just to remove your stress, you’ll most likely think of spending your days in white sand, dive in cerulean waters, and sunbathe in a warm breath of the sun while looking at the indigo sky. You’ll have to take your swimming gear with you. And, you’ll probably head to the north, getting lost in once in a lifetime adventure. You can’t just think locally, for you’ve been there, quite close or even surrounded by your neighborhood all year long. And yes, you are unaware of the hidden party venues and resorts to appreciate somewhere.

Well, you’ll think it’s not a problem. However, you don’t have any idea of where to go. You don’t have to book your destination yet. You just take a ferry somewhere and get drawn in the spirit of adventure. Don’t worry. It isn’t an adventure if you’re familiar with the place or if you’ve been there before. I tell you this. However, you can’t just cherry-pick the most familiar spots in the country. You know what I mean… So, you have to set all your things to go on an excursion. You have to forget those expensive beaches and resorts and think about something economical, yet exciting to sojourn.

Additionally, you don’t have to choose your favorite destination. You have to try something new, something refreshing. As long as you can go for a walk in white sand, dive in cerulean water under a sapphire sky, and stare at the panoramic of view of a vast open sea in the middle of the day, you’re just right there, near your destination. You don’t have to think of Coron, El Nido, and Puerto Princesa in Palawan, Boracay in Aklan, Samal Island in Davao, and Siargao in Surigao. That’s another discussion for this story. Can’t you think of Cebu? If you just do, then you’re probably thinking of Moaboal Beach.

Exciting cerulean-indigo water and white sand at Moalboal Beach

Moreover, you’re surely speculating what place on earth you can find the promising Moalboal Beach. You don’t have to be upset. You can find Moalboal Beach in Cebu. At this point, you may be thinking about what exhilarating things you do at Moalboal Beach. I tell you this. You can do a lot of exciting and engaging activities in the sun. I can promise you that the food and the location are apt for all your planned adventure. Well, are you alone or are you with your family friends? If you do, the place is perfect for you.

Finally, if you’re somewhere on this planet and wish to go Moalboal Beach, have your smartphones with you and ask Mr. Google, as well as its map to drive you where you want to go. Oh, this is an adventure, right? So, buy electronic loads for your phones and clean your cameras to use. After this COVID-19 pandemic, you’ll surely get your chance to unwind before getting started and plunging into the biosphere of jobs in the workplace. Oh, you’re not ready yet? Don’t be scared. Plan your retreat now. In the end, you can’t get any trouble, for the financial plan is rationally priced.

Amaya View: An Overlooking Tourist Destination in Cagayan de Oro

You may not have heard of this sumptuousness site to get lost in space and time. The status quo of the pandemic even keeps you tied up in the four corners of your room where you tend to forget to appreciate the metropolis’ enchanted attraction. However, I bet you’ve known this one from your friends. Since its opening, this fascinating tourist destination has been right here all along. You and I have to open our eyes to look for the beauty in it (It sounds like the speech of Miss Universe Catriona Gray). Despite the odds of the situation this time, it still is nice to get soaked and wet in the azure infinity pool above the indigo sky. Welcome to Amaya View at Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. There, you wouldn’t get lost if you could only take your acquaintances and friends with you. Together, you can savor the succulent food and hors d’oeuvres within the beauty of Cagayan de Oro.

Azure Infinity Pool at Amaya View, Indahag, Cagayan de Oro city

Amaya View offers a lot of enjoyment. You may not like to dive in the cerulean oceans under the sapphire sky; however, you cannot refuse to dive in the azure infinity pool at Amaya. Minding you, it seems funny to think that we, sometimes, pay no attention to this artificial paradise. We only love to know that our acquaintances, friends, relatives, and other social circles plunge themselves in the cold cobalt pool waters.

Now, you know where it is. Amaya View is in our neighborhood. It is located at the highest peak of the City of Golden Friendship. You only need to prepare ₱50.00 or something for your entrance fee to wander around the resort.

Don’t just fret. Here’s what you need to know. Please stick to the schedules.

Hey! There is one more thing you need to know. At the moment, Amaya View does not offer room accommodations for now. Please ask the management of Amaya about it because the resort has the best customer service. However, you don’t have to worry about those rooms to stay in for the night. You can go directly to the neighboring hotels, inns, and transient rooms around the city. I tell you this. Rooms per night for inns, hotels, suites, and lodging houses in Cagayan de Oro are cheaper than what you think. Yes, I am right. I have been to Bohol, Cebu, Davao, and Manila, and the rates for their hotels and other transient suites are quite expensive.

Breathtaking scenery at Amaya View

So, what are you waiting for?

Visit Amaya View now. I’ll do it one more time. Amaya View is located at Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. Oh, my bad! You may ask how to get to Amaya View. Well, here is what you need to do:

    • Choose a metered taxi. It only rates you up to 300 pesos from 20 to 30 minutes to the resort paradise.
    • Again, please visit Amaya View on its website. But please, don’t forget to mention us and our website <https://misorjournal.com>.
