Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s Best Teachings: What Are Those?

The famous Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is the same as anybody with a complex personality. Some people around the world know that he is a philanthropist, spiritual and religious leader, and author. He works tirelessly for crafting accord between the body, mind, and spirit. His Isha-foundation allows him to spread his knowledge on yoga and happiness of everyone.

And yet, a spiritual seeker Achyut Telang wants to answer Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s best teachings. Telang’s answers come from Quora.Com as copied directly and read below:

      • When it comes to external situations, each one of us is differently capable, but when it comes to the internal all of us are equally capable.
      • Before you fall dead, you should explore the full depth and dimension of who you are otherwise it is a wasted life.
      • “I do not know” is a tremendous possibility. The possibility of knowing arises in your life only when you truly realize that ‘I do not know’.
      • This body is a heap of food and mind is a heap of impressions that you have gathered. Whatever you gather can be yours but can never be you.
      • Every moment you have a choice whether to be blissful or miserable. Make it consciously.
      • The most important thing happening in your life right now is that you are alive.
      • Whatever you think about yourself, whatever the whole world thinks about you, has no existential relevance. It has only psychological and social relevance.
      • If your experience of life transcends the limitations of the physical, only then we can say you are spiritual.
      • If you become a source of joy by yourself and your relationships are about sharing your joy, not squeezing the joy out of somebody, then you would have wonderful relationships with anybody. If two people come together, it should be a sharing of joy, not extraction of joy from each other.
      • The past is memory and the future is imagination. Both do not exist right now. Fear is simply because you are not living with life. You are living in your mind. Your fear is always about what is going to happen next. That means your fear is always about that which does not exist.

Becoming a Freelance Academic Writer

Most young professionals these days are competing with one another to obtain the job positions in the prominent brick-and-mortar institutions. Unfortunately, some of them cannot land on their dream jobs. They only work on some fast-food chains and restaurants despite their undergraduate degrees. Of course, you can imagine how young people like accountants, architects, engineers, and teachers become fast-food crew members or restaurant waiters and waitresses because they cannot find jobs. When these young professionals get their fast-food crew jobs, they receive only below the minimum wage. Others accept odd jobs to earn money to cover the costs of their daily expenses. Like these people, I, too, struggle to find jobs. If you are in the Philippines, you can find odd jobs and receive your salary below the minimum wage. Because of this situation, I decide to work online, study the art of writing online, and become a freelance academic writer.

Pursuing an Academic Writer Position

It seems strange to think that I spend much of my time in college only for a freelance online academic writer. I cannot imagine, of course, how I become a freelance writer and procure the benefits of writing and working at home.

The fear of working online is massive. No assurance is available for you to explain if something goes wrong. Every single day seems a nightmare to think of the coming paychecks. I do not even know if I get workloads. Clients, somehow, get mad at the result of my projects. Though some praise me for doing the right thing, others make comments that I do write poorly.

So, I have to master my craft. I manage to learn independently through online tutorials. I manage to unravel the mysteries of writing and styles. Then I begin to explore various writing websites that offer good pay-outs. As a freelancer, I find this job exciting. I can work on my projects on my terms. I work so hard to establish my niche and expertise to earn a living.

Benefits of Academic Writing Jobs

Online writing companies offer various perks and compensation packages. They allow writers like me to choose projects, complete them, and submit them on time. This situation allows me to be productive as I work projects as long as I can submit them. I gain the ability to manage my time while spending with family and friends.  I have the freedom to do my projects with coffee at the table. For seven years as a freelance academic writer, I become flexible and productive. Who can think that I can read notes while cooking on the side? Who can imagine that I type my articles, essays, and reports while watching kids in the neighborhood? My point is, it appears so convenient for me to work on these conditions. I have a great opportunity to work at a contented stride. I cannot imagine how miserable my life will be if I work with many intimidating tasks with toxic bosses. The benefits of the online job are the following:

  • Choose a deadline and a delivery date. As a writer, you can pick your task based on the allotted deadline. While doing so, you can work in different time zones since you are at home, by the sea, or at the coffee lounge.
  • Have a timely payment. Academic writing companies offer you payments on time. They have specific dates where you can receive pay-outs. For example, some companies will give pay-outs once or twice a month consistent with your choice. Above and beyond, you can choose any payment methods, such as PayPal, ePayments, Payoneer, Skrill, and Wire Transfer.
  • Have a variety of academic assignments. Academic writing jobs online have a pool of customers of all academic levels that demand assistance from writers. If you know the project requirements, you can apply and work on them.
  • Have pre-paid jobs, Quick Promotions, and Bonuses and Tips. Academic online writing companies have available jobs previously selected and confirmed by the Support Team. You can pick those topics and begin writing right away. Most online writing companies make use of awards, incentives, and perks to motivate writers to perform their jobs. They then promote writers to be junior writers and senior writers. As well, when clients get satisfied with the jobs, they offer bonuses and tips.

Requirements for Writers

If you decide to be a freelance academic writer, you need to be ready with your writing prowess and qualifications. As a freelance academic writer, you need to have the following:

Why We Need Passive Income Streams and Earn More than $1,000 per Month

As a Filipino Freelance Academic Writer, I work hard to earn a living. I spend much of my time typing at the working table with a high-in laptop in front of me and a Starbucks coffee on the side, while sitting on a stunning swivel chair. However, writing online does not give you the full potential to earn bigger incomes. You just have to make things work out to accomplish your goals and earn money while sleeping or taking your time off. You need to earn large sums of money to cover all the costs of your monthly expenses and shopping sprees.

Let me ask you this. Have you known any means and ways to earn money while sleeping securely on your couch? Have you heard of someone whose bank accounts show an intriguing influx of cash tiptoeing into their banks? You may think this situation seems odd. However, passive income works like a pipe dream that offers you the potential streams of income without exerting much effort into it. You know I mean, right?

Earning passive income requires effort and time. You need to make use of all the resources available online. It does not mean that you have to be an Internet guru or a tech master. You just need to know how to begin it. When all are set, you need to wait where and when the money flows down to your bank accounts without knowing. Of course, you like to have this opportunity to support your family and loved ones.

Below are the strategies to earn passive incomes.

  1. Make Investments in Stocks or something. You can earn money through investments. You need to search for companies that let you invest your money and receive dividends and interests. There are many firms that you can invest in. However, when you do this, make sure you know the “ins” and the “outs” of investments.
  2. Embrace Affiliate Marketing. Website owners make use of affiliate marketing to boost their income streams. Using your website, you can promote other companies known as your “affiliates.” You earn money when someone uses links and makes purchases of the products. Many websites allow affiliate marketing. These websites, such as Amazon, eBay, Lazada, MetroDeal, NewChic, and many others, are good sources of income since online consumers make purchases online.
  3. Entertain some Display Ads. Website owners can still earn money through ads display on their websites. They can earn more than $1,000 through advertisings. When you have the website, you can monetize it and allow advertisers to promote their products and services through your website.
  4. Include Cost Per Click (CPC) Ads. Website owners can still earn good money through these CPC ads. Unlike affiliate marketing in which you can earn money when online users make purchases of the products and services, CPC Ads pay you sums of good money when someone clicks on the commercial ads regardless of how online consumers do whether they make purchases or not. In here, you do not keep on wishing your online users make purchases or register for something. It is because CPC lets you earn money when someone clicks the ads. Just as simple as that!
  5. Create YouTube Videos. There are many means and ways you earn passive income. However, I make sure I have five. The last strategy that you need to know is the use of YouTube. You can post tutorial videos, cooking videos, dance videos, and the like to earn passive income. You just need to register it from the YouTube website, as well as Google Adsense, to ensure you get revenues from those videos and ads. It becomes a passive income because you can earn money while doing other things unexpectedly. The video is just there on YouTube. You can still earn money from that video through ads and views. If you are making YouTube videos to earn money, you can do other stuff while earning money from it.

Indeed, there have been many strategies to earn passive incomes, such as selling leads, selling digital products like e-Books and e-Courses, and many others. The bottom line is that you need to start it now before others do. You may choose to not do it now and regret later of not having the chance to do it. At some point, you keep on bragging your 7-4, 8-4, or 9-5 jobs. It is okay. Keep  believing on it. Be happy to stay there for a while. When you are ready, I will be right here waiting. For those who want to commence earning passive income, start today…

COVID-19 Pandemic: What We Do About It?

The global pandemic has caused us nightmares. We become emotionally distressed and wrecked thinking that we lose everything – jobs and start-up businesses as our means of survival. For months now, we do not know what to do. We keep on waiting for relief packages from the Philippine government. Yes, we believe we can receive kilos of rice and a few canned goods. And yet, we wait long enough to receive the promises that the government gives. The government through the DSWD will distribute the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) benefit and we expect to receive it since we qualify the criteria. However, we just wait for nothing since our local government units with their partners cannot provide all for the poor people. The Philippine government only prioritizes the poorest of the poor people in the country. How about us, the poor?

COVID-19 pandemic has brought terrors in us. My mother who has been bedridden for years cannot go to the hospital. Firstly, she cannot move around. Her condition does not allow her to travel plus the travel restrictions. Based on the mandate, people, aged 60 and above, are not allowed to travel due to their weak immune system. They do not have a strong immune system to fight the coronavirus as they say. Secondly, she is afraid that she can get the virus in the hospital, or the hospital will refer her to another. She does not want to happen due to access to transportation for us, the relatives. Thirdly, she cannot walk by herself and urinate too often that she needs medical and immediate attention here and there and then and now. When these things happen, we cannot assist her since the hospital will only require the nurse to take care of her. Or, the hospital will require one immediate family to take care of her. This option seems a hassle since my mother requires two more to take care of her physical condition. Thirdly, medical doctors and nurses are busy due to the surge of patients coming in and going out. Because of COVID-19, she has to wait for an additional three months to get her medical checkup.

As well, COVID-19 has made us feel the terror. The use of the pronoun “us” refers to the poorest of the poor, poorer of the poor, and the poor. I live in a concrete house, lose my job, and still pray to find jobs after COVID-19. I belong to the poor category. I categorize myself that way since I can still eat rice and dried fish. However, we miss the SAP support because our zone leader in the village include our house as a criterion for those individuals who cannot receive the SAP assistance. Moreover, we have nothing in out pocket, wallet, or banks. We suffer a lot. I know that other people who belong to the lower-middle class and the middle-class groups still suffer the same way. However, we cannot do something about it but to stay at home, to ensure social distancing, to apply home and community quarantine, and to ensure lockdown. For three months or so, the global pandemic has shattered lives, torn the economies, and produced terrors. Because of COVID-19, we lose everything.

Indeed, COVID-19 keeps us distant. It makes us wait for eternity. We do not know exactly what happens to us and the world around us. All governments in all countries work hard to mitigate the risks of the coronavirus. However, none can find means and ways to solve the problem. Nevertheless, we have to ask for a solution to the problem – virus and poverty. Are we shutting down the economy? Are we allowing all people to go back to normal? If we shut down the economy, are we able to provide food and medical support for the people – the poorest of the poor, the poorer of the poor, the poor, lower-income middle, and middle-class groups? If we go back to normal, can we provide vitamins and minerals to all people? I cannot complain. Perhaps, the government will decide.

Your Instagram Buddy Takes a Braver Fight Against Bullies, Find Out How

An article, by Kay Lee on December 17, 2019, reveals a bold and audacious step of Instagram. According to the information posted on Instagram’s Info Center, the company wants to implement a new feature to notify people if they receive and send unpleasant photos or video captions.

This year Instagram management rolls out a new feature notifying users whether or not the captions of their messages and posts are offensive. According to Instagram, users have the responsibility to pause for a while, think, and reconsider all words before posting the pieces of information and images.

According to the management and creator of Instagram, this feature has been similar to the one being introduced back in July. Nevertheless, this feature, according to some people, aims to match and counter online bullying. It gives users the tasks to limit their words and to give them chances to be professional without sending foul and inappropriate messages. Indeed, the new feature according to the management allows users to know if they use foul language or offensive ones before posting comments and photo captions.

Additionally, the management of Instagram learns that such changes remain helpful to the community. As well, this feature reassures people and users to reflect upon the choice of words when posting.

On December 16, Facebook users will also get the same processes. For example, users get warnings if they write potentially offensive captions. This idea means that users have to edit and correct their word choices before they finally post them online. However, Facebook users have the decision to leave their captions and comments if they choose to leave them. Moreover, the Facebook experts note that their AI can spot belligerent words by associating them with other terms and words from previous texts and programmed wording.

At the moment, when users write captions for feed posts, Facebook’s AI can detect these captions and tagged as potentially offensive. Users will receive prompts telling that their captions are similar to bullying. In this case, users can edit their words if they want to correct them.

Indeed, Instagram management will implement this new feature. Government leaders and their corporate industries will adopt the same measures. However, this feature remained unknown yet. On the contrary, this feature soon becomes global as more countries consider this feature important and valuable.

From Village Talk to Facebook: How Fake News of COVID-19 Spreads like Wildfire?

The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the globe operates like a wildfire. This propagation of information generates a global link wherein all country leaders and citizens get alarmed. However, some people have a sense of humor to report news. They make fun of it. They even fail to take the news seriously. As a result, they spread fake news and lies across social media sites to magnify the situation to produce anxiety and worries. The splurge of this fake news and information over the broadcast and print media even creates panic and tension. In effect, this information muddles individual people to think which one is real or not.

However, some people find joy in spreading fake news. They love to offer some unreliable reports using Facebook, Twitter, and other social media means. Some prefer to post video materials telling that bananas can beat the power of the novel virus. Other people, however, remain unhappy with posting funny, yet pity acts of pleasure. As a result, they post another video on Facebook regarding the relevance of eggs as treatments to beat COVID-19.

It seems comical to ruminate the idea of lying to share nonsensical information. As COVID-19 prospers in infecting people, it also thrives on corrupting social media sites. It then contaminates the minds of the users. This idea suggests the power of the virus, so strong that it kills more than 100,000 people across the globe as of May 3, 2020, at 05:00 PM. The coronavirus does not only target individuals’ biological part but also mental acuity. For instance, some people who post wrong information on Facebook and other social media platforms may also receive the virus – the mental infection that twists genuine information. It sounds funny though. Or else, it may sound a conspiracy. Regardless of the situation, the virus infection remains fatal to people. The infection on Facebook surely lasts as fake news reporters and rumormongers pollute others by telling them some bogus statistics, phony treatments, and fake pieces of information.

In the end, Facebook can be a viable tool to spread information. However, people need to learn the ethics of messaging and posting relevant and significant information. When they decide to post information, they surely have to realize the ethical grounds of sharing information. Writers who post the information have the moral obligation to inform the public based on truth.

Have Automobiles Improved Modern Life?

Have automobiles improved modern life? That inquiry would continually re-echo through ages. Of course, people asked how the recent development of science and technology activated these days. Automobiles did change modern lives. Without them, people would continually strive and struggle to go to places and went back to the primitive form of their lives.

Automobiles, in general, emerged to perform their primary goals. Innovators made certain that these automobiles did promote the safety of the people and ease of travel. With cars and other vehicles, people could drive and transport them from places to places. Without these automobiles, people remained primeval to contact other people in other places. Due to the recent developments in automobiles, people knew that automobiles have improved modern life.

Automobiles, such as Hatchback, Sedan, SUV, Crossover, Coupe, Convertible, and the like have improved modern life. For example, business people who would drive their automobiles to get to work had to depend on their machines to attend their office jobs. Additionally, students who took buses to go to school would no longer spend their effort and stress walking in long distances. In other words, none would long walk on the streets as many people chose to buy vehicles and other expensive cars for travel. People would feel relaxed to dress up and go to parties for socialization. With their expensive and fancy cars, they work hard to meet the demands of elite society.

As well, automobiles have improved people in these modern lives. The common denominator of this situation was simple – automobiles could redefine people’s lifestyles and modern lives. As automobiles could provide some safe and good transportation, drivers and car owners should guarantee safe passage and transport. Since possible, people would buy automobiles to adapt to the new modern culture despite the lifestyles and ways of life in the modern landscape. It meant that automobiles helped people go places for ease of transport and safety.

Indeed, automobiles made people comfortably go places. People would no longer walk long distances to reach their destinations. They used their automobiles to drive and select their locations. When these people reached their destinations, they realized that automobiles changed their modern lives and that they transformed people to move around the place.

Virtual Learning Platforms

Will virtual learning platforms replace traditional universities? This inquiry sparks controversy and an answer to whether or not virtual learning platforms will substitute traditional schools. According to Palloff and Pratt (2007), the arrival and the commencement of the advanced technologies, such as the Internet, computers, and websites create some immense online courses. Of course, virtual learning platforms, such as Newrow.Com, Tutorroom.Net, Braincert.Com, E-Lecta.Com, and the like, make the learning activities of the students very stress-free as they will not spend time traveling for their classes. As well, virtual learning platforms are less expensive and students can access online courses through electronic devices. Though there are several expanding virtual learning platforms, these teaching channels cannot replace traditional universities since they do not offer human contacts, because they fail to compete with traditional lectures, and because they do not have well-established learning and teaching experiences.

Virtual learning platforms, despite its prominence in the online domain, do not replace traditional universities. They only supplement traditional universities. When teachers use some of the virtual learning platforms, such as Newrow.Com, Tutorroom.Net, Braincert.Com, E-Lecta.Com, and the like, they only provide alternatives for students “to have new learning and teaching environments” (Palloff & Pratt, 2007, p. 28). However, they cannot substitute traditional classroom lectures since they do not offer any human contacts. For example, students cannot meet their classmates and teachers in person. They cannot even ask direct questions to their teachers “if they have important questions to ask” (Palloff & Pratt, 2007, p. 46). They must wait for days before their online teachers generate answers to their questions. Therefore, virtual learning platforms fail to replace traditional classroom lectures.

As well, virtual learning platforms nosedive their intentions and motives to compete with the traditional classroom lectures. They go amiss to handle with their plausible ideas to teach students based on human interactions. Virtual learning websites, which offer online courses, can invite more students “to begin their online classes and teachings” (Halvorson, Crittenden, & Pitt, 2011, p. 485). However, these students feel busy with their tasks, which makes them decide to take virtual learning classrooms. According to research, the goal of traditional education is to uphold their face-to-face contact as “an important element in teaching” (Halvorson, Crittenden, & Pitt, 2011, p. 486). students and teachers must meet in the middle to discuss questions at the spur-of-the-moment. Without the presence of teachers, students fail to get answers to their questions and may lose the audacity to know the idea.

Moreover, virtual learning platforms as complementary tools in teaching do not have well-established learning experiences. They only substitute teachers temporarily to vary their teaching techniques. In other words, they exist to add variations. Teachers only use and produce enormous online courses to attract more students to take online classes and to take advantage of their benefits (Furió, Juan, Seguí, & Vivó, 2015, p. 189). Unquestionably, they make learning activities easier. They even allow students to browse online classrooms and let them explore “the contents of the sites” (Yang & Liu, 2007, p. 176). As students try to access new files and interactive tools, they study their lessons online and “in the comfort of their homes” (Yang & Liu, 2007, p. 174). Despite the encouraging remarks of virtual learning platforms, the fact reveals that they cannot, by far, supplant and swap traditional universities.

Indeed, virtual learning platforms do not have any chance to replace traditional universities. They may supplement the traditional classroom setups, but they cannot alter how traditional universities do. They cannot eliminate the presence of human beings since they do not have enough ability to dismiss the presence of teachers. Teachers who remain the fundamental forces in the classroom can only provide instructions with their human conduct. And yet the increasing virtual learning platforms only supplement the traditional classrooms and the universities. In other words, virtual learning platforms do completely not replace traditional universities as they, in the end, fail to offer any human contacts, miscarry their goals to compete with traditional classroom lectures, and nosedive to embed the new learning and teaching practices.
