In 2019, the local government of Claveria invested the Claveria View Deck is located along Route 955 or the Gingoog-Claveria-Villanueva Road in Lanise, Claveria, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. Local tourists go along Gingoog-Claveria-Villanueva Road that attracts local and even foreign tourists. As well, Project Lupad and Katawa Doodzkie have exciting presentations about the place with the best-captured photos in their gallery. Well, Claveria View Deck opens daily. The last time I knew was that View Deck opened from 7 AM to 7 PM. Tourists and travelers noted this place as an ideal layover for explorers and holidaymakers to relax and enjoy looking at the scenery.
Well, if we visit Claveria View Deck, we expect no entrance fee. We can surely enjoy ourselves looking at the grandeur of the place. Oh, others may ask how to get there. Well, from CDO Agora Terminal, you will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel via jeepney to Poblacion Claveria for only ₱80.00. From the main junction or drop-off point, take a motorcycle for ₱20.00 to Barangay Lanise, Claveria in Misamis Oriental.
As well, from Cagayan de Oro, you can take the jeep and stop right there at Barangay Silaw, Villanueva Misamis Oriental for only ₱30.00 and then take a motorcycle for only ₱50.00 to Barangay Lanise, Claveria in Misamis Oriental.
Moreover, we can expect to see the view of Mt. Balatukan, Mt. Sumagaya, and Mt. Mangabon. Since Claveria is the largest municipality in terms of total land area in Misamis Oriental, we can expect the space of the province and enjoy the view while eating at the restaurant and watching the magical scenery. We don’t need to forget to bring our jackets due to the cool breeze. The restaurants are inviting with inexpensive food dishes plus the cottage for only ₱150 an hour.
