Sakto na ba ang ₱365.00 na sweldo kada adlaw sa Region 10 sa Mindanao, Philippines? Is ₱365.00 enough for a married man to feed himself and his family? Is it enough for him to survive? To answer these questions, it is proper to consider discussing this paralysis of dreams and reviewing how a married man with one child struggles to survive daily.

Ang Kita Nga ₱365.00

And yes, you are a married man, and you do have a job. You earn ₱365.00 a day. However, you cannot feed your wife and your daughter as you struggle to feed them. This condition is what you call extreme poverty. Di ba kulang siya ang ₱365?. Nakita na ba kini sa gobyerno? Ug sa karon nga pandemic, unsa na kaha ang kaonon ani nga mga tao. Ang kilo sa karneng baboy ay ₱400.00; sa karneng manok ay ₱200.00; sa karneng baka ay ₱350.00. Daw bi, unsa na ba ang presyo sa mga gulay? Let us see sa Table 1 kung unsa ang magasto sa usa ka amahan sa pamilya. Don’t mention that he has to go on a diet or that he has to tighten his meal expenses a bit. Ang ₱25.00 nga sud-an sa merkado ay usa lang ka gulay ug gamay kaayong hiwa sa karne.

Dawbi Kung Walay Trabaho

Ang mga walay trabaho, mag-nganga sila. Daw bi ang kita sa uban nga ₱25.00 a day? Kausa na lang lugar sila mukaon. Okay lang lugar na nimo nga sila gigutom, tapos daghan imong kwarta sa graft and corruption… Dili na lang nako i-mention ang ahensya kay dilikado. Dili ko sure kung kinsa ang gabuhat sa sakto. Tarong man kuno pud sila?

Basta, don’t blame those poor Filipino people. Blame those people nga nadato ug kalit ug daghan ang mga sakyanan sa easy money lang nga gikan sa mga modus operandi nila and those politicians nga nakadawat daw ug Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Unsa kaha ning SOP? Basta, don’t blame the poor people. Basin wala siguro sila naabot sa programa sa family planning. Kung naabot man, unsay nahitabo kaha sa implementasyon. So, wala silay knowledge sa birth control. Kung mutukar ilang gana; mag-kuan pud na sila. Mao pud managhan sila. Aduna bay programa ang gobyerno para ana. I don’t know. As well, I don’t want to comment sa implementation sa family planning program.

Andito na tayo. We are here to witness the outcome of the actions of those people who do so and so and such and such. Daghan ang kwarta sa gobyerno. Daghan ang kwarta sa mga ahensya. Dili na lang ko mag-mention ug mga ahensya. Basta, the government has plenty of financial resources.

Unsay Sakto Lang Na Sweldo

Sana ang basic pay sa lahat ng rehiyon ay dapat nasa ₱1,000.00. Don’t sue me ha. Opinion ko lang ito. Then, calculate ₱1,000.00 a day times 26 days kasi may day off for one month salary. A married man can have ₱26,000.00. Aba, parang okay na ito. Hindi pa kasi kasali sa gastusin ang education, healthcare and medicine, fare and snacks sa mga, at iba. Kunti pa nga ito; pero parang medyo nakakakain na ng tama ang isang pamilya. Iyong mga professionals, syempre kikita sila ng malaki ng kaunti.

Sa huli, sa sobrang mahal ng bilihin at sa daming babayarin, it became a paralysis of dreams. Hindi “Build, Build, and Build” ang nangyayari, parang “Bill, Bill, and Bill” na ang dating.
